Coldwater 42 – Minster 13

Visiting Coldwater scored two touchdowns in the first quarter on 10- and 4-yard runs, then added 18 more points in the second quarter by scoring from the 8, 20 and 23 yard lines. The halftime score was 30-0. Coldwater added their sixth and seventh touchdowns in the third period.

Minster scored a pair of touchdowns in the final quarter when Don Bachman went over from the 5 and Robert Hoying from the 4 yard line. Joe Sherman kicked Minster’s extra point.

Coldwater’s kicker failed in all seven attempted place kicks after touchdowns for the visitors. Both teams compiled eight first downs.

Fathers of members of the Minster squad were introduced prior to game time. Minster’s band played the melody which has been selected for the high school song. Words will be added, and the school song announced soon.
