Ansonia 27 – Minster 6

A much improved Ansonia squad spoiled Minster’s first annual homecoming by administering a 27-6 drubbing to the Minster Wildcats. Previously in the season, Minster and Ansonia had played to a 13-13 tie.

Jack Amspaugh and George Lee broke away on separate scoring sprints of 35 yards for the winners. Minster’s tally came in the second period after Gene Boyd received a pass from Don Bachman on the Ansonia 20.
