Covington 18 – Minster 9

Minster dropped a league decision to Covington, 18-9 at Minster. The local boys went in front 7-0 in the first stanza when Huelskamp went over on a line plunge and Bernhold kicked the extra point.

However, Covington came back strong in the second quarter, scoring a touchdown, and counting two more TD’s in the third quarter to make the count 18-7. Hogenkamp tackled a Covington back in the end zone in the final quarter for two more points and the scoring was over.
