Versailles Puts Running Clock on Minster in 41-0 Victory

VERSAILLES - The Minster Wildcats had won their last nine games against the Versailles Tigers. However, this meeting was all Versailles from the opening drive, as the Tigers rolled to a 34-0 halftime lead on their way to a 41-0 victory.
Versailles needed only three plays to before Carson Bey ran 20 yards for the opening score of the game. Bey would run for another 36-yard score and connect with Noah McEldowney for a 39-yard touchdown pass. Jack Osbourne added scoring runs of 17 and 6 yards to make the score 34-0 at the half.
With the running clock in effect, the Tigers would add a fourth quarter Gabe Thomas three-yard scoring run for the final 41-0 tally.
Next week 9-1 Versailles will be the #5 seed in Region 20 and host Cincinnati Summit Country Day in their opening round playoff game. Minster ends their season with a 1-9 record.
