These are some scriptures that really minister to me!

Why this page?  Because, like maybe some of you are, I felt a bit overwhelmed shortly after the birth of my daughter and these verses were the ones that ministered to me at that time.  Now, I feel like God has been prompting me to put some resources out on the web.  I think this is going to involve more than just this page, at some point.  But for now I am going to get started and see where He leads from here.  So I'm not sure how long I will keep this page out here; but for right now here it is, obviously.  If this has blessed you it would mean a lot to me to hear from you our e-mail is blitch @nktelco.net (remove the space).  

A little background on me, if you haven't perused my other pages.  I am a Christian Mother, Wife, and Woman.  The proud mom of two precious children, a boy and a girl.  I have been married, as of the time of writing this for 14 1/2 years.  My son is 5 3/4 ;-) and my daughter just turned 1.  

Don’t worry about tomorrow

Matthew 6:33 – 34a
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.Therefore do not worry about tomorrow.

No anxiety

Philippians 4:6 – 7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Nothing can separate us from God’s love!

Romans 8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Context: Romans 8:32-34
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Given Sound Mind

II Timothy 1:7 
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.

Can Do

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

No condemnation

Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Sleep

Several times while pregnant and then again shortly after both of my children were born I struggled with sleep.  As a result I looked to the Bible for what it had to say about sleep and this is now the verse I recall most often when I go to bed.  For more scriptural help with sleep, click here.  

Psalm 4:8

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
