High School Football Unofficial Records
(Through
Week 13 of the 2024 Season)

This
is an unofficial attempt to recreate the historical statistics of the Minster
High School football team.
I have complete team offensive statistics beginning with the 2004 season. Defensive statistics are a lot sketchier. I also have the summary of the statistics compiled by Dan Schoch in his book, “Minster Football: The First 25 Years”.
However, the pre-2004 official team stats are no longer available. So, I have been recreating them as best as possible from records listed in the yearly football program, and from statistics listed in the Minster Community Post, St. Marys Evening Leader, Sidney Daily News and the Celina Daily Standard.
If you have any records that could complement the work done here, I would appreciate a copy.

are the links to the categories of the statistics as I currently have
them. Active players are listed in bold type.
NOTE: Some of these stats, especially Tackles,
Tackles for Loss, Sacks, Interceptions and Passes Broken Up are quite
incomplete. Tackles are particularly
iffy, as in many previous years there was no attempt made to differentiate
between solo tackles and assists.
Therefore, the actual number of tackles a player had is somewhere
between the number of tackles reported and half of that amount. In order to be conservative, all such numbers
were halved to make certain they were not inflated.
